Her birthplace was Yarrawonga in Victoria, Australia. Her father wed Ojales an Filipina woman from Bolinao Pangasinan in 1982. Jasmine is her younger sister. is also a professional actor. Their father's side were half-sisters with a name Clare who passed away in 2007 of an illness of the heart at just four months old.
